Focused on the Person.

Not Just the Diagnosis.

Mental health care is more than simply a treatment plan. It’s about treating the whole person—mind, body and emotional well-being. That’s why we provide immediate access to integrated care in the least restrictive environment possible. The minute we’re contacted, we begin work on stabilizing the crisis, but also assessing the person holistically including other healthcare or personal needs outside of the crisis. Some call it a “continuum of care.” We call it the right thing to do.

    • Wrap Around Services – assist children and families by “wrapping” them with needed supports and services and discovering ways for the family to help themselves. In this model, families choose “family teams” made up of both formal supports (school personnel, DHS, OJA, etc.) and informal supports (friends, extended family, neighbors, church members, etc.) within the community. These “teams” help families learn how to resolve crisis situations and improve overall functionality.

  • For some, prescription medication, as part of an overall treatment plan, can help with mental and emotional challenges and/or behavioral issues. Our board-certified psychiatrists and licensed physicians will supervise your medical care and help you find the best treatment options for your needs.

  • We serve various programs for individuals involved in the court system such as Mental Health Court, Drug Court, Community Sentencing, Pretrial Release Program, Early Diversion Program, and Federal Probation & Parole. We also offer a free screening program for felony-level offenders to determine the mental health, substance use and risk factors that can directly impact a defendant’s criminal case. We can help clients identify alternatives to incarceration or treatment services that may be an option at the time of sentencing. This can also help determine if any of the above programs would benefit a given individual.

  • Our dedicated Outreach Team meets those with behavioral health/substance abuse issues where they are. This GRAND ‘streets team” is out in the communities we serve offering assistance and resources to those vulnerable populations in need. Whether that’s connecting individuals with social services, offering a meal or warm blanket, providing basic health screenings or transporting those ready for help to any GRAND facility to begin services with us, our team is there and ready to help.

  • GRAND Mental Health is proud to partner with local law enforcement agencies to provide behavioral health and crisis support to the communities we serve. We equip police patrol cars with a GRAND iPad, allowing officers to connect individuals with one of our licensed crisis professionals in real time when officers are called out to mental health crisis situations. This helps officers in deescalating serious situations and provides those in serious distress with immediate support. Further, we partner with law enforcement to utilize one of our behavioral health 24/7 Urgent Recovery Centers, when circumstances allow, to engage individuals in treatment and provide an alternative to incarceration. Virtual behavioral health services are also available via our police iPads. Law enforcement support is critical for addressing the unique challenges and stressors faced by law enforcement officers. Law enforcement personnel often encounter traumatic events, high-pressure situations, and emotional stress in their line of duty, which can have significant impacts on their mental health and well-being.

    • Responding to police calls that are mental health in nature, police officers and GRAND mental health professionals respond and provide services directly on the street or refer and “warm handoff” to the appropriate services. This limits incarceration, use of force, and allows law enforcement to utilize manpower more effectively.
